Business Manager & Veterinary
Trena
I completed my certificate IV veterinary nursing and
associate diploma in animal technology in 1998 in
South Australia. After completing my studies, I started
as a Trainee vet nurse at University Avenue Veterinary
Hospital in Oct 2000. Throughout the years I've worked
as a veterinary nurse and gained experience in all
aspects of nursing. Once I started my own family, I
changed my career path to learn bookkeeping and took
on a management roll. I was lucky enough to have two
boys who also grew up in our family friendly clinic. I
have so many pets and a beautiful property to house
them all ranging from Dogs (7), Cows (which I truly
love the most), chickens, pigs and sheep. I love the
diversity of my job and still being hands on with
nursing which gives me the job satisfaction I need to
love coming to work. I enjoy the complex cases and
love nothing more than helping to work out what's
wrong and how er can fix it. Most of all I love working
with our clients who I have known for many years. I am
very lucky to work with some amazing vets and nurses
who are also like family and can't see myself changing.
